There are around 15 different versions of "black google" online. The best one I've found is
www.cleanblack.comCleanblack is the only version that allows you to change the text colors of the google search results. Try it yourself by going to www.cleanblack.com/theme/

I have one for you!

Angelea's Ashes by Frank McCourt. It's his memoir of his childhood in Ireland-- alcoholic father, bitter poverty. It's terribly sad, but also terribly funny in parts. I cried, but also laughed until I cried.

I'm also reading "a tree grows in Brooklyn" right now, which reminds me of AA in many ways... it's fictional, and based in Brooklyn instead of Ireland, but there are lots of similarities.

Hope you're enjoying NYC! I've never been there, I'm so intruiged. Joelle's there somewhere too, did you know that?

I love seeing your heart my love! Look forward to seeing how Dred and Asher Lev move you. The last book that made me weep, was a book I just read: Way of the Wild Heart.

Hey!

I have a book recommendation for you-- Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver. Read it this spring and really liked it-- it's informative, challenging AND hugely entertaining-- the combination of which is rare for a single book, I think. I think you and your husband (it still makes me grin to realize that you two are married now!) would enjoy it.

Hope all is well and you are -- or soon will be-- enjoying the summer. I think I may have caught sight on Facebook of a new job at a Geneva school in MANHATTAN-- are you two moving?!
